Growing with Nature is starting on Thursday 4th June. This is completely FREE for families in Staffordshire 🤩 This 7-week online course encourages families with children aged 2-5 years to connect with nature through simple, fun ideas celebrating the season. See the poster for all the details.

A little note from me 💚

I know the page has been a little quiet lately, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything happening! In fact, behind the scenes I’ve been squirrelling away planning future events, applying for funding and grants, and thinking of new ways to bring opportunities and special moments to our community here at Croft on the Heath 🌿

Alongside running The Croft, I’m also a full-time teacher, SENDCo, and mum, so everything connected to events and organising is done in evenings, weekends, and spare moments in between. It’s something I genuinely care deeply about and love doing, but these things do take a lot of time, energy, and planning to make happen.

I’m hugely committed to continuing to grow The Croft and create amazing experiences for everyone, and I’m so grateful to those who continue to support, encourage, and understand the work that goes on quietly in the background.

And on that note… make sure you keep the afternoon of 7th June free 👀✨

What a week for the Croft on the Heath! We’ve just finished our 3rd year of holding Space Camp events where we’ve seen over 300 pairs of feet visit our beautiful space over over the week. We’ve experienced all weathers as we usually do, and have enjoyed camp fires, star gazing, crafts and lots of muddy fun.

These events take lots of planning and we try to go bigger and better every year. I’d like to say a massive thank you to Tinker's Bells Ltd - Glamping & Events Daz Harrison and Head Farm Staffordshire Brookes Brookes for their generosity and continued support. They lent us their beautiful deck chairs for our telescope area this year and it was a great addition. Without Daz we may not have had any lighting after a few technical difficulties. Both companies are always so willing to help and support our cause, and for that we are forever grateful. Amazing companies and amazing people! Thank you so much.
