🇫🇷 Enjoying the delights of Bordeaux with Pip in my Sundress made from an old linen fitted sheet 👗

👗Made from 100% linen this sheet was too good to throw away!

👗The sheet had only worn in the centre so I drafted a dress pattern which could be made up out of the good sections ✂️

🧵I enjoyed playing with the direction of the stripes and was pleased with the effect.

👗I added some pretty deep cotton crochet lace between the tiers and on the hem.

👗I also used a worn matching pillowcase lace frill to make the straps, which I shirred the same as the bodice.

🧵There was just enough left to make Pip a matching bandana

This week’s Sew 🧵 Cosy Classes showing off their beautiful makes!

🧵Amanda has made the most gorgeous nightie which she copied from a favourite nightie 👏🏼

🧵Gill B has started an exciting new dress 👗👏

🧵Gill S is making a lovely pair of trousers 👖 and she’s doing a lovely shirred waist! 👏🏼

🧵Yvonne started cutting out a gorgeous dress 👗 and bought a long her for Pam to try - which she’s modelling beautifully!👏

🧵Helen has just finished a stunning wrap skirt toile which Yvonne is also modelling beautifully 👏 Helen is also wearing a very pretty dress 👗 she made too (I’ll ask her to comment below on the pattern) 👏

Pam has finished her fabulous top! 👏
