Weโve had an amazing two weeks with our pop-up swimming pool in school! ๐โโ๏ธ
We are so proud to have been able to provide all children with the opportunity to take part in swimming lessons. It has been truly special to see every child getting involved, building confidence in the water, and developing such an important life skill!
It has been wonderful watching their smiles, determination, and progress over the two weeks, memories we know theyโll carry with them!
A huge thank you to Time4Sport for making this fantastic experience possible. The children have absolutely loved every minute! ๐๐๐

Weโre proud to share that some of our Year 2 and 3 children attended the first ever Uttoxeter Youth Sustainability Summit alongside Mrs Forrester and Mrs Harris this week! ๐
Their focus topic was gender equality and they represented our school brilliantly. The children confidently delivered a powerful speech to audiences from first, middle and high schools across the trust, as well as to key members from Support Staffordshire, East Staffs Council and The National Nature Park to explore solutions and decide upon their actions to make an impact for the forthcoming year.
The children spoke with passion and demonstrated a real understanding of such an important issue.
A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to bring this all together!
We are incredibly proud of our children! ๐ผ

๐ Introducing our Reading Ambassadors! ๐
Our Year 3 children had a wonderful time at the Reading Ambassadors Workshop hosted by The Richard Clarke First School this morning. It was a fantastic collaborative event which brought together children from All Saints C.E First School, Bramshall Meadows First School, Hutchinson C.E First School, Picknalls First School and The Richard Clarke First School.
The children shared book recommendations, discussed barriers to reading and explored the many benefits of reading, including wellbeing, vocabulary and knowledge.
They represented our school beautifully, showing respect, kindness and enthusiasm throughout, and it was wonderful to connect with other first schools within the i2e Partnership!

To start off our STEAM week here at Bramshall Meadows, all of our children had the opportunity to explore and take part in a mini beast workshop today by the incredible Rent a Beast!. ๐ฆ๐ชฒ๐ท๏ธ
The children had the opportunity to explore all about different mini beasts, learning what makes each one so special and get up close and personal.
They were absolutely thrilled to get up close and personal with them, watch them in action and even have a go at touching them. What a fantastic day! ๐ท๏ธ๐
A huge thank you to Rent a Beast for such an amazing opportunity for our children and to our wonderful PTFA for providing us with this incredible opportunity.
Itโs been a fantastic way to kick off our STEAM weekโฆ I wonder what other fun weโll get up to? Watch this space!

On Friday, our Early Years children had the pleasure of working with Mr West to plant some pumpkin seeds to go in our Muddy Meadows area. The children used their knowledge of planting from last term to help them with this.
We canโt wait to watch these grow over the upcoming months ready for Autumn. ๐
