Yesterday the Overs took a walk to their local church⛪️ During this they spoke about local business and occupations✂️🌸🩺 and loved looking at the nature and environment 🐌 When inside the church the children enjoyed looking at the decorations and talking to the elderly members of the community ⛪️ - “A Church with children is a Church that is growing - their presence is a sign of life” ⛪️

Yesterday the Overs room took a walk to the church⛪️ During their walk, we talked about the local businesses and what they do 🚓🌸✂️ They also loved looking at the natural environment and using describing words🌲🍁🐌 When in the Church, the children loved looking at the decorations and talking to the elderly members of the village ⛪️ - “A Church without the presence, sounds, shouts and cries of children is a Church without a future”

Yesterday our Overs room took a walk around the local lake and loved looking at the ducks 🦆 and diggers 🟡 During this they used their gross motor skills to explore when running, walking and climbing the hills ⛰️ They have also used their number and letter recognition when looking at door numbers and number plates 🚗🔢

This morning the Unders room have took a trip around the local lake. During this they had a stop off at the JCB factory to visit the diggers and talk all things construction🚧 They have also collected some natural resources such as leaves and sticks to use in their activities 🍁🌳 - “Big diggers teach young minds how to move mountains, one small scoop at a time.”

I just wanted to say a massive well done to all the children that took part today! They put everything we had been practising into motion and the smiles/laughs were incredible!
