Here’s a snippet of the amazing feedback we have recieved from our parents/carers end of academic year questionnaire. We frame these quotes and put them in our porch. We have the best job in the world and to receive feedback like this is the icing on the cake!

We have been using the opportunity while we have been closed for the summer to get some work done! Thanks to 1st Glass Double Glazing Ltd for installing the last 2 of our 22 windows, they’ve done a fantastic job and we would recommend them without hesitation! We have also had a significant back room / storage and baby changing upgrade. We need to thank The Roger Edwards Trust for part funding this project and Owen Luke for his hard work designing, building and installing! Have a look at our before and after pictures. Diolch yn fawr pawb! What a wonderful academic year we have had 25-26! Thank you to our children, families and community who have supported us over the last year.

The parent questionnaire results are in! 96% of parents completed it. We have been incredibly humbled. Some feedback:

* 100% of those that replied said they felt their child was happy in nursery.
* ⁠100% said they felt their child was an important part of nursery and the community.
* ⁠100% said they feel that their child has benefitted from attending nursery
* ⁠100% said that our team keep children safe and healthy
* ⁠100% said our team communicate effectively with children
* ⁠100% said that our team communicate effectively with parents/carers
* ⁠100% said our team promote children’s development and meet individual needs.
* ⁠100% agree that equipment at nursery both indoors and out is age and stage appropriate
* ⁠100% believe the children’s play and learning environment is fit for purpose
* ⁠100% are satisfied that nursery is clean, bright and airy.
* ⁠100% believe children spend an appropriate amount of time outdoors.
* 100% said that they could approach our team with any inquiries or concerns they may have.
* ⁠100% are satisfied staff are trained appropriately.
* ⁠100% agreed their child talks about, or repeats stories, songs and rhymes that we have looked at in nursery.
* ⁠100% feel that they’re well informed of children’s progress

Room for improvement:
* 78% felt that Welsh language and culture is important at the setting. This is something for us to work on: we have warned our families to be prepared for Welsh phrases or words of the month next year ❤️

What a lovely morning we have had today! We discovered we had 5 butterflies, we released two of them today! We played in our under cover sand and water area. We had home made ice lollies and shared the fruit that the hungry caterpillar ate Monday - Friday. One 🍎, two 🍐, three plums, four 🍓, and five 🍊 for snack. While we were in the shade having snack we saw two red kites flying over. It was really special 🥰

Over the weekend our caterpillars spun their cocoons. Luckily we set the camera on time lapse on Friday as we were leaving, we managed to capture this! 🐛 Insect Lore
