☀️🐴 SUMMER 2026 PONY CAMP — WHAT A SUCCESS! 🐴☀️

What an incredible summer of pony camps we’ve had! 💕 We honestly couldn’t be prouder of every single rider who joined us and made our Summer 2026 Pony Camps so special. 🥰

From riding lessons, showjumping and hacking to games, stable management, pony pampering, competitions, camping and plenty of laughter… we’ve packed so many amazing memories into our camps! 🏕️🐎✨

Watching the children grow in confidence, independence and horsemanship throughout the camps has been absolutely amazing. 💪🏼❤️

A HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful staff, instructors, volunteers, parents and, of course, our incredible ponies and horses who make these camps possible. 🐴💕

🌧️⛈️ WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL! 🐴💙

Despite the changeable weather forecast and the possibility of some thunderstorms today, Manchester Equestrian Centre will be OPEN AS NORMAL. 🐴☔️

We know the forecast can look a little worrying, but please don’t panic! Our team will be keeping a close eye on the weather throughout the day and monitoring conditions carefully to make sure both our riders and horses remain safe. ❤️

🌧️ A bit of rain won’t stop us — so please come prepared with suitable waterproof clothing and footwear!

⛈️ If there is any particularly heavy rain, thunder or lightning directly affecting the yard, individual lessons may be paused or adapted for safety. We will always put the welfare of our horses and the safety of our riders first.

So, unless you hear directly from us, your lesson is going ahead as planned! 🐎💙

🐴❤️ WE LOVE AN UPDATE! ❤️🐴

It’s always so lovely to see our horses thriving in their new homes, and we couldn’t be more pleased to see how well rider Ava is getting on with her new horse, Maverick! 🥰

Maverick was purchased from us, so seeing the two of them progressing together and building such a lovely partnership makes us incredibly proud. 🥹✨

A huge well done to Ava — you’re doing a fantastic job! We absolutely love seeing your updates and watching your journey together. 💕🐎

☀️ EXTREME WEATHER GUIDANCE ☀️

The ABRS has issued guidance regarding hot weather and how riding schools can make informed operational decisions during periods of extreme heat.

At Manchester Equestrian, horse welfare is always our top priority. Lessons are routinely adapted throughout the year to ensure the wellbeing and safety of both our horses and riders in changing weather conditions.

Our decision to operate during periods of hot weather is based on a combination of environmental factors, including temperature, humidity, wind speed and cloud cover, rather than temperature alone.

We are continuing to closely monitor the weather forecast. Although temperatures are expected to increase towards the end of this week, the current forecast is approximately 28°C with cloud cover and low humidity. If these conditions remain as predicted, lessons will continue as planned, with appropriate adjustments made to accommodate the warmer weather. This is part of our standard practice and is something we routinely implement throughout the year.
