Such a fantastic first session back after the summer break! ⭐️
She worked so hard, focusing on SPaG, rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1,000, and recapping key maths learning objectives ready for September.
Such a brilliant effort and a great start back! 📚✨ Well done! 👏

We worked on bus stop division, multiplication and some code breaking using all 4 operations. We then went back to the story we wrote last week and made it even better by adding speech, interesting adjectives and lots more detail.
So proud of the effort and progress tonight — well done! 👏📚

The summer holidays are such a lovely time, but that jump from late nights, lazy mornings and having very little routine back to school mornings, packed lunches and the school run can be a big adjustment for children (and parents too!).

September can feel like a lot, so I’ve put together a little poster with some simple ways you can support your child through that transition. ❤️

But please don’t feel like you need to have it all sorted just yet. Don’t let September take the last week of August!

My lovely student absolutely smashed her summer lesson! ☀️📚 We focused on times tables, tackled 2-digit subtraction with borrowing from the next column, and then finished with some creative writing. ✍️✨
She used her imagination to write her own fantastic story, and I was so impressed with her creativity and confidence! 📖💫

✨ Another lovely 1:1 lesson with my student! ✨

We had a really productive session, starting with place value and using Base 10 equipment to make the learning practical and hands-on. We then moved on to addition and subtraction and practised counting in 2s, 5s and 10s. 🔢
After all that maths, we switched things up with a reading comprehension activity before finishing with some creative writing — writing a postcard to a friend! 📚✏️💌
A lovely mix of learning, practical activities and fun, with lots of fantastic work along the way! 🌟

Despite it being such a hot day, my student worked so hard and was an absolute superstar! We covered column addition and subtraction, number bonds, reading, phonics and different sentence types, all through fun games and activities. 📚✏️🎲
It was lovely to see such a positive attitude towards learning and how much effort went into every activity. A brilliant session with lots of learning, smiles and progress! 👏

The photos aren’t the best, but it was still really good to see the eclipse through the special glasses. A nice experience which I’m glad I got to see! ☀️🌒

What a great session with my Super Summer group last night! ☀️ They worked so hard and had lots of fun along the way.
We had a bit of everything — maths, reading, writing postcards, and some hands-on spelling using coloured matchsticks to build and spell words. We also worked on reading comprehensions, focusing on inferring information from the text.
So much great learning, teamwork and fun! 📚✨ Well done everyone, you did a brilliant job! 👏
