⚽️ SUMMER CAMP FEEDBACK – THAT’S A WRAP! ☀️🙌

5 weeks. 10 camps. Lots of football, lots of fun and plenty of memories made! 👍🏻⚽️🔥⚽️👍🏻

Our summer camps have now officially come to an end and we just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been part of them.

Across the 10 camp days we’ve had matches, challenges, competitions, plenty of quality free time and, of course, the usual British summer weather — sunshine, clouds, wind and rain! 😂🌦️

Most importantly, the kids have been absolutely fantastic.

Every single child who attended over the summer played their part in making the camps what they were. It’s been brilliant watching the younger kids trying to match the older ones, the girls mixing it with the boys and, just as importantly, seeing the older children looking out for, encouraging and supporting the younger ones. 👏

That’s exactly what we want our camps to be about — football, fun, confidence, friendships and everyone feeling included.

To all the parents, thank you for your support and trust throughout the summer. We really hope the kids have enjoyed the camps as much as we’ve enjoyed running them — and hopefully we managed to give you a little break along the way too! 😂

⚽ Football Camp Feedback – Week 4 / Camp 8 Complete! ⚽

And just like that, Week 4 and camp number 8 is complete! Another brilliant week of kids + football + great weather ☀️⚽

Today was packed with football and football-related challenges, from our winner-stays-on mini tournament to the always competitive numbers race game.

Our epic final match of the day certainly lived up to the billing! It went to extra time, finished 1–1, and then went to a penalty shootout that seemed to involve nearly every player because it went on that long 😂

Coach Kelly eventually had to remind Coach Jay that we are actually going away today! 😂

But hey… if the kids are enjoying themselves, everyone knows Coach Jay never sticks to the finishing time he says anyway!
(No overtime payments required 😂)

Once again, the kids have been fantastic this week, just as they have been every week throughout the summer. A huge thank you to all the parents for bringing them along and for your continued support of Carpe Diem Football Coaching. It really is appreciated.

Our Play Phase is all about giving our youngest players a brilliant first experience of football — and we’d love to welcome some new faces!

Designed for children aged 3–6, including Preschool, Reception and Year 1, our Saturday morning sessions are relaxed, positive and, most importantly, FUN!

There’s no previous football experience needed. Whether they’re already football mad or have never kicked a ball before, they’re welcome to come along and give it a go.

🔥⚽️ CAMP 6 COMPLETE ⚽️🔥

What a week it’s been! Another super hot day to finish, so the gazebo was out, plenty of hydration breaks were taken and we made sure the kids had lots of time in the shade ☀️💦

We kicked off the morning with kid-organised Wembley & penalties before getting stuck into accuracy & power challenges, a 3-team winner-stays-on tournament and even a 3-team tug of war 💪🏼😂

After lunch we had an age-group penalty shootout, followed by 3 matches under the cards, with our final game of the day being decided by penalties! ⚽️🥅

A few memorable moments from the week have to include…

Massive day today for our weekly football camps, week 3 & day 5…..

Fantastic day, kids, effort, behaviour & football on display throughout the whole day…..

Camp week 2 & session 3 was a great day of football related games, football challenges & of course football matches

20 kids in total who had fun & went home smiling

Even with the rain this morning they stayed out in it with comments of i love the rain, I’ve missed the rain & i forgot what rain was 😂

⚽ Camp Feedback – Week 1 Wrap-Up ⚽

A quieter day today before the next few weeks – the calm before the storm! 🌪️

We had lots of challenges and games throughout the day, including:

* Small-sided matches on reduced pitches with mini goals. Games started as 1v1, with players needing to score before a teammate could join in.
* First touch challenge.
* Hit the bar or post challenge.
* Top bins challenge, with the target nets making another appearance!

One of the highlights was our Noughts & Crosses (0s & Xs) team game. One team nearly won it twice… but somehow managed to lose twice after running to the wrong square! 😂

To finish the day, we had a match where the focus was all about letting the kids play. We even had two guest goalkeepers… although one was substituted after less than 10 seconds for the other guest keeper! 🤣

Great 1st day of football & it was a scorcher…….

But the kids were all fantastic even little Harry spending half a day with us, lots of regulars & a new face

Gazebo was out, base camp was under the trees & every change to the day was held in the shade while kids had a hydration break sponsored by H2o

A day of football fun games, challenges & team challenges

Not forgetting our actual matches with no bib team captained by Logan winning match 1 & Match 2 at the end if the day via a penalty shootout with Toby.Y smashing the winning penalty
