🌿 Hey you!
I’ve been thinking...motherhood is basically like being a ringmaster in a circus where the lions are always awake and the clowns have their own secret plans! 🤡
And for all the mums out there with co-parents who seem to be dancing to their own weird beat? I see you. I really see you.
Case in point: Last week, at bedtime, I had a classic solo-parent moment...
Tween and teen both staging their own protests - one with eye rolls so powerful they could create a hurricane, the other slamming doors like he’s trying to audition for a rock band...
Me? I’m just trying to keep the peace without turning into a referee on a reality TV show or googling 'how to teleport.'
As many of you know, I’ve been diving deep into supporting mums who are juggling the beautiful chaos of motherhood and sharing how co-parenting isn’t about perfect harmony, it’s about learning to groove when the other care giver is doing the hokey cokey and you’re trying to waltz.
So when bedtime falls apart, or the tween throws a tantrum over homework, or the teenager’s storming off like the world’s ending, take a breath.
This messy, exhausting dance is just part of the gig, if you can laugh through it, you’re winning! And spoiler alert: no one’s actually got it figured out!
If you’re juggling the same flaming torches, or just want to commiserate over the chaos, I’m here for it.
Drop me a message, or share your own hilarious parenting fails, because we all need a laugh sometimes!
Whether you’re flying solo or sharing the chaos with a co-parent, parenting is no joke, but it’s a heck of a ride and we’re all in this together!
