Serious scientist energy 🔬 This water tray was set up with stones, shells and a pipette, and within minutes our Shooting Stars were completely absorbed. Squeezing, transferring, observing.

This kind of self-directed investigation builds concentration, fine motor skills and early scientific thinking, all while looking like the best kind of play. Because it is.

Painting! But make it full body 💜 Bare feet, bold colours and absolutely zero hesitation. This is what we love most about open-ended creative play at Little Angels.

Foot painting isn’t just wonderfully fun, it builds body awareness, explores cause and effect, and creates a sensory experience children talk about for days.

Our very own nature scientists 🦋 Armed with a butterfly checklist, binoculars and a dandelion, our Shooting Stars took their learning outdoors this week in the best possible way.

Ticking off species, spotting wildlife and connecting with the natural world around Uppingham. This is community-rooted, child-led learning at its finest.

Full speed ahead ☀️ Nothing quite captures the joy of summer like a toddler running full pelt across a sun-baked field with the biggest grin on her face.

Our Twinkle Toes and Little Stars children have been making the most of the warm weather this week, and honestly, We’re right there with them, soaking it all up.

This is what childhood should look like.
