TASTER SESSIONS AND TRIALS
In our club there are five teams: 1st and 2nd Women's Teams, 1st and 2nd Men's Teams, and the Recreational Team.
If you already have some experience with volleyball, sign up for the Men's or Women's Trials. The best players will be chosen to play for the 1st teams. Those who do not make it will have a chance to try out for the 2nd teams. Apart from having regular trainings, both 1st and 2nd teams will play many league matches against other universities!
If you have little to no experience - that's fine! Sign up for one of the two taster sessions to try volleyball out and see if you would like to join the Recreational Team. It is a team for beginners where you can have a lot of fun while learning the basics of volleyball, developing your coordination, and improving your volleyball technique!
The taster sessions and trials will take place in Jubilee Sports Hall, on Sunday 3rd October. To see the exact times and to sign up for tasters and/or trials, follow this link: https://bit.ly/3ALrLT5

If there are more people signing up than the listed sessions can accommodate, we will organise more sessions in the following week(s) to allow everyone to try volleyball with us. Please, bear in mind that after you fill the form in, we need some time to assign everyone to their slots and thus we cannot respond immediately.
WHICH SESSION SHOULD YOU SIGN UP FOR?
If you are experienced in volleyball and want to play it competitively, you should sign up for the first team trials. If you do not make it to the first team, you can still join the second team if you wish to. In that case, you may be expected to come to the second team trials organised at a later time.
If you have played volleyball before but do not have much experience, and you want to try playing it competitively, you should sign up for the second team trials. If you do not make it to the second team, you can still join the recreational team afterwards.
If you are new to volleyball or have just a little experience, you should sign up for the taster session to try it out. If you like it, you can join the recreational team. If you feel like trying to play competitively, you will be able to sign up for the second team trials after the taster session.

Because of the recent changes in the UK government COVID-19 guidances, any forms of organised trainings have strict limitations on them.
But it doesn't stop us from playing volleyball this year!
In a few days, we will tell you when and where the taster sessions and the trials for our teams take place, and how to attend them. Follow this page if you don't want to miss it!
