Sadly we are CLOSED TODAY Monday 29th November. The Snow and Ice have made our outside area unsafe, our gazebo has collapsed and some of our staff have been unable to get in. We have posted on Parent Hub and Emailed out, but this is just in case anyone has missed our messages... We should be open as ususal again tomorrow but please keep your eye on the message system. Thanks for your understanding! xx

Well we're all back at Preschool now 😍 It's been a lovely week and we've been having lots of fun with our children!

Last Thursday Dawn and I spent a lovely day up at the The Heights of Abraham with our 2020 leavers and their parents. It was a late gathering as thanks to having to close we weren't able to do anything at the end of term. Thankfully the weather was reasonably kind and we all had a great time exploring the park and playing on the playgrounds 🙃

I would like not only to thank the Pughs and their staff for a lovely day but would also like to acknowledge the hard work that has been put in to enable the park to reopen during these strange times - it's fantastic!

In collaboration with Network Rail the Heights have had a raised footpath built overlooking the river, which creates a safe and pleasant walk to the lower cable car station. An abundance of knee operated handwashing stations have been fitted throughout the park to enable you to keep those hands clean, the shop and café/restaurant are operating a one-way system to eliminate any congestion and the cave tours have been limited in number but are operating more frequently to allow for social distancing underground. The health and safety measures that have been put in place did nothing to dampen our days enjoyment, if anything they enhanced it.

Thank you so much for a fantastic day The Heights of Abraham, as usual we very much look forward to our next trip on the cable cars.

We’ve been doing some socially-distant maintenance down at Preschool today 💦 Still loads more to do but we’re getting there! Sarah and Dawn have been down over the last few days too, lots to do before we can re-open... whenever that may be 😊 Missing you all! 🥰

WOW! Not only have we reached our fundraising target today, but we’ve had a few more direct donations too! We are so grateful to all the generous people who have donated - thank you so much to you all 😍

We are currently looking at ways we can re-open based around Govt. guidelines. It’ll not be just yet for us, but as soon as we are able, your donations will ensure our children and staff can return to a safe environment with a newly cleaned and painted outdoors area, plus additional equipment where it’s most needed 😍 We couldn’t have done this without you 😍

We hope everyone is staying safe and taking care of themselves in these strange times 🌈 We have been busy behind the scenes since we had to close, but we are missing our children enormously! 💚 Things have been a little uncertain for the Early Years sector, and our Committee have very kindly set up a GoFundMe page to support our efforts both during this lockdown and for when we re-open - This has already been supported by so many generous people, and we are so lucky to have such amazing and supportive local community in these difficult times - Thank you so much from us all 😍
