Adam & Mary's wedding day at The Story Durham was everything a wedding should be - intimate, relaxed, and full of adoration for one another.

After a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends, we made the most of the stunning surroundings before heading over to Wharton Park for some portraits together. The backdrop of stunning Durham Cathedral couldn't have been more perfect. There's something so special about celebrating your love in a place that's steeped in so much history.

We did have a slight adventure trying to find somewhere to park thanks to a festival taking over Durham that day, but it was absolutely worth the mission. Those views, that light, and these two together made every extra step worthwhile.

Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs Wells. Thank you for trusting me to capture such a special chapter of your story. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter and adventures together. 🤍

✨ SOPHIE & JOSH ✨

A beautiful church ceremony, followed by the dreamiest summer reception at the incredible The Hammer and Pincers. It couldn't have been more perfect.

The sun was absolutely roasting, sunglasses were on from start to finish, and the gardens were full of guests playing games, singing along, dancing to live music, laughing and soaking up every second. Tambourines in hand, drinks flowing, a live singer setting the soundtrack to the afternoon, an incredible grazing table, and a dance floor that stayed full long into the night thanks to the DJ, who was also amazing!

Then there was El Capitán... the captain's armband that somehow made its way onto my arm by the end of the evening. 😂 Absolutely loved it.

But above all, this day was about two people who are so clearly made for one another. Sophie looked absolutely radiant in her gown, like she'd stepped straight out of a movie, and the way Josh looked at her said it all.

The atmosphere was everything you'd hope for from a wedding in the height of summer: joyful, relaxed, full of love, and completely unforgettable.

Congratulations, Mr & Mrs Bird! What a privilege it was to capture your incredible day. 🤍

✨ GILLIAN & IAN ✨

What an incredible Sunday celebrating Mr & Mrs Devlin at the beautiful Derwent Manor Boutique Hotel. The atmosphere was absolutely electric from start to finish, and one thing is for certain - the Irish definitely know how to party! 🥂

The ongoing Fireball joke from the hen party lived on, with the bridal party enjoying a shot (or two!) before the ceremony. Then, during the group photos, I couldn’t resist asking everyone to shout “FIREBALL!" which naturally turned into guests breaking into Pitbull’s Fireball (daaa da da da da da) and a spontaneous sing-along! 😂 It had everyone laughing and perfectly summed up the energy of the day.

Add in some glorious sunshine and some of the best craic with an incredible bunch of guests, and it made for one unforgettable celebration.

✨ MARK & LISA ✨ The Farmhouse, South Causey

We had every kind of weather thrown at us - freezing winds, bursts of sunshine, sudden showers, and hailstones so loud they literally stopped the ceremony - and through it all, Mark & Lisa were super cool, calm and collected.

In between the showers, we caught some beautiful moments in the sunshine, and even better, their spaniel Willow made an appearance, bringing a tear to Dad’s eye when he saw his favourite girl join the celebrations. 🐾

I had the pleasure of capturing Anelisse and James’ beautiful wedding over the weekend at Beamish Hall Hotel. It was a gorgeous sunny day - a little cold and windy (“Hace frío” as the bride’s mam rightly said! 🥶) - but the gorgeous sunshine worked perfectly in our favour.

We captured some lovely, light-filled couples portraits inside and family photos outside in the spring sun. A brilliant day celebrating with such a wonderful couple.

Yesterday afternoon at St Joseph's Church, I had the absolute honour of capturing such an incredibly meaningful day.

Their ceremony was unexpectedly brought forward so that the people who mean the very most could be there to witness them say “I do”, which made every single moment feel even more significant.

It was one of those days where emotions ran high, hugs lasted a little longer, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight (including mine) - yet it was equally full of warmth, love and joy.

Molly & Simon, what a privilege it was to capture memories you’ll treasure for a lifetime. 🤍

Well... It’s been a minute!

We’re already mid-Feb, and I’m still not over 2025 - it was THE busiest, most successful year yet for my little business, and I honestly don’t think it’s fully sunk in for me.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to my couples for being so patient while I edit (and tear up, and smile, and tear up again) my way through your wedding galleries. I know it can feel like a long wait, but every single image is carefully edited and meticulously detailed (I wouldn't have it any other way). It takes hours. And a lot of late nights. But your memories 100% deserve that time and dedication. 🤍
