The Scout Hut, Raglan Road, Walton Park, Sale
A Registered Charity No.520108
The Playgroup was established in 1965 and, as a registered charity, is accountable to OFSTED and the Charities Commission. Government funded places of up to 15 hours per week available, childcare vouchers accepted from September 2013. We are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance which offers support and guidance at a national level. Your child can attend these sessions from the age of 2. Our team work closely with the children to help develop their personal and social skills. One of our key aims is to encourage learning through play. This is achieved by involving the children in a range of activities including: sand, water, painting, imaginative play, cooking, craftwork, book corner and stories, music and singing. We also offer physical play including outdoor activities. Whilst your child is at Playgroup we record their development in a pictorial form and this is available to you at any time.
