All Peak District navigation training courses and day walks have been suspended until the end of lockdown. Looking forward to getting back out into the hills when the time is right. For now, the local parks are proving a great alternative. Discovering new paths which is always a treat.

We are keeping up with the latest governmnet guidelines as they are updated. Our courses are running from January 2021 with provisions in place to be Covid secure. All courses are run 100% outdoors and with a maximum of 5 participants. Courses are for a minimum of 2 people so if you have a friend or partner from the same household it is an ideal way to get outdoors and learn something new.

Can’t wait to get back out into the countryside? If you’d like to learn some basic map reading skills to help you feel more confident outdoors then why not come on a 1 or 2 day course. It’s a great way to learn a new skill and enjoy a bit of fresh air and a beautiful walk too. Gift vouchers available if you know someone who would benefit from some navigation tips. Learn a new skill in the beautiful Peak District National Park. Why not take the opportunity to spend some time in one of our most popular outdoor spaces and learn something new at the same time. During 2020, many of us have taken up walking as a way to enjoy nature, destress and escape the everyday. Is now the time to explore further by learning to use a map and compass? With some basic skills, you can plan your own routes, feel more confident in the outdoors and reach places that will lift your spirits and senses. Join a small, supportive group and take a step by step approach. If you are keen to explore more and enjoy the benefits of a little tuition then do get in touch. There are 1 and 2 day courses available for all levels from beginner to advanced. The minimum number is 2 /maximum 5. See you in the hills - from December onwards.
