I love singing and love teaching, so this is the best job in the world! I have sung and performed on and off for many years and I use my experiences to shape my teaching. My goal is for you to enjoy your lessons, have fun and learn a variety of skills along the way. I can't wait to meet you and help you on your singing journey, in whatever direction that takes.

We had a lovely family night out listening to the fantastic live Scottish music of Gnoss in Settle last night. A wonderful evening full of brilliant music, impressive playing, funny stories and a great chat with the band afterwards. A really lovely bunch of talented guys!

This morning I am reflecting on the wonderful evening I had yesterday watching students perform at their school cabaret night Skipton Girls' High School! These two did such confident performances which was a pleasure to watch and see all their hard work pay off.
So proud of this student, this was the first time we worked on this song and I threw her in at the deep end with a backing track which has been scary for her in the past. She took all my notes on board and was feeling confident about it so we wanted to capture the moment. She watched the video back too and was really pleased and proud of herself with how it sounded when she has previously disliked hearing herself back.

It is coming up to that time of year again! Eurovision 2026! A favourite in our house and judging by some of the student song choices coming into lessons recently a favourite with some of you too. Lots of fun but also challenging songs to work on.

I am a super proud teacher, Mum and Friend after an amazing weekend rehearsing and performing with our friends at Imogen Gibson School of Dance !
All the students totally smashed their songs giving the audience wonderful performance and most importantly they had fun and enjoyed themselves whilst doing it.
Thank you to Imogen for letting us be part of the Spring Showcase at Pendle Hippodrome and especially for choreographing our collaboration on the opening number.
Well done to the students, backstage team, teachers, parents and theatre team. It was another fantastic show and these atmosphere back stage was brilliant and wonderfully supportive.

How exciting that show day is this Saturday! There are tickets still available if anyone wants to come and watch the fun. We have had a great week with our last rehearsals and I can't wait to see everyone perform.

Tickets are now on sale for the Imogen Gibson School of Dance Spring showcase. An evening of musical themed song and dance (my favourite)!
I have some students that are singing as well as doing some dancing myself so it would be great if you could book tickets to support the students or to laugh at my dancing! (Don't tell me which reason actually made you book🤣)

Another wonderful evening of watching my students perform in their school shows. So wonderful seeing them get to show everyone their hard work and dedication.

Not the best photos due to lighting, but we had a super evening last night watching my student, Sylvia, perform as part of the Make More Music project and an impromptu performance at the Craven Arts Open Mic night.
I am very proud of how Sylvia's confidence has grown since starting singing lessons earlier this year. She is a very gifted musician, being able to play multiple instruments and learn songs by ear.
It was also lovely to introduce other students to the open mic scene and hopefully, they will perform at future events.
