Trudi was determined to swim even with the advice to keep out of the water due to her disability. Her ears and hearing were affected by having had measles at a young age.

She then faced knockbacks by being female.

A truly remarkable woman with a strong spirit to achieve her dreams and love of swimming!🏊

Our members only event at the Roman Villa site on WearBay Road in Folkestone above the Warren.

We were kindly invited by Canterbury Archeological Trust to learn about the site and to partake in finds washing. Where we discovered animal bones and teeth, Roman tiles, pottery and shells.

It was really interesting and thank you to the team for our memorable morning.

The warbling song of the common Reed Warbler…

Hanging out in the Reeds along the Royal Military Canal.

It’s a delight to stop and listen to various bird song on our Wild with Wheels adventures. Even if we don’t get to spot them.
