Its been a while since I properly posted about classes on here , probably almost a year 🤦‍♀️ I am absolutely loving my role as a Tutor with Cumbria Adult Learning and the courses we are delivering are growing by the week. Art for Wellbeing - Exploring Indian Textile Embroidery

Friday 3 November 2023 - 7 weeks - 10:00 - 12:30

Learners will explore different textiles and stitching in order to design and create their own envelope style bag, using the principles and techniques of Indian embroidery.

Wow - another amazing day x not quite as busy but still lovely 🥰

I am now ending the sale early with tomorrow being the last day , anything left is either then off to a car boot where my friend is raising money for a different charity and some bits are off to the Nan Tait - so far we have raised £32 for The Womens community centre in barrow and I have space physically and mentally - thank you 🥰

It's 8.45pm and I have just sat down after being up on the go since 3am! I can honestly say this has been the high light of my year. 🥰

Thank you to every one that took the time to come over. My face is aching from laughing and my throat is sore from all the chatting. It's been amazing to spend time with each of you, thank you. I will truly miss this side of sewing - the community and sharing of knowledge and support we all share for each other 🥰

I will send a quick update out on email tomorrow of what I have left - which is safe to say isn't much 🤣

I won't be going away from sewing forever - I plan to stay in touch via my emaill nesletter mainly and the 'Chatty sew and sew group' on here as I do love a good ooo and ahhh. I look forward to seeing all you makes with your new supples - no pressure 🤣
