What a special way to end the year! 💙

Today we said goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 pupils. We are so proud of everything they have achieved and the amazing young people they have become. Thank you for the memories—we’ll miss you all and wish you every success in the next chapter. Once a LAMPS pupil, always part of the LAMPS family. 🌟🎓💙

What a fantastic day we’ve had today! The children had an amazing time with inflatables, bubbles, axe throwing and, to round it all off, a water fight back at school! 💦

A huge thank you to Mrs Watson and Mrs Yates for organising such a brilliant day for our children. It was the perfect way to make some wonderful memories together.

We are incredibly proud of our amazing caretaker, Jeff, for successfully completing the Everest Base Camp Trek back in April! 🏔️💙

Through this incredible challenge, Jeff raised an outstanding £5,944 for St Mary’s Hospice, contributing to the team’s phenomenal fundraising total of £55,059.60.

What an inspiring achievement for such a wonderful cause. Congratulations, Jeff – everyone at LAMPS is so proud of you! 💙👏

Thank you so much to Mrs Mitson and the KS2 team for organising this year's summer production of Hoodwinked. The children were AMAZING!!! Also, thank you to Mr Gaskell for all the extra help with turning our little hall into a theatre and back again and to Mr Mitson for his help with props. ❤️

🎉 Happy 140th Birthday, St Peter’s Church! 🎉

We had a wonderful morning celebrating the 140th birthday of our beautiful village church with the local community.

The children enjoyed singing songs, sharing poems and fascinating historical facts about both the church and life in 1886. We then gathered together to give the church a great big birthday hug, cheered loudly, filled the air with bubbles, and finished the celebrations with some delicious homemade cupcakes and juice.

It was a truly special morning, and we were delighted to celebrate alongside the Lindal community. Happy Birthday, St Peter’s Church! 🎂⛪🫧💙

Class 1 and Class 2 had a fantastic day at Lakeland Maze Farm Park for their end-of-year trip!

The children enjoyed plenty of outdoor play, met and fed the animals, and had lots of fun in the soft play area.

🏆 A huge congratulations to our White Team for taking home the Sports Day trophy! What a fantastic afternoon filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, determination, and plenty of cheering.

A big thank you to our caretaker, Jeff, for preparing all the equipment and marking out the track, to Askam Rugby Club for kindly lending us their line marker, to Andre Gilga for keeping the grass short, and to our wonderful Governors for their continued support.
