This is our first social back after a break over summer, and a great chance to escape the rain 🌧️

The session starts at 7pm, and is open to complete beginners, experienced climbers and everyone in between 😊

🚨 We're back open! 🚨

And just in time for the next batch of rain 🌧️

Thanks for your patience while we got some jobs done and thanks to all those who came down to help with the scrubbing, setting, the mat replacements or any of the other bits we managed to do! Some jobs were more exciting than others 😂

The new matting is noticeably less squishy than the old stuff, so be aware that you may want to take a little more care while the mats get broken in. We'll be sure to let you know where the new sections are on your first climb back :)

Unfortunately like many other businesses at the moment we have had to raise our prices a little. The full price list is pictured above but we've added £1 to each climb, and £5 to each monthly membership. Despite this we're pleased we have been able to keep prices the same over the last 3 years, with our last price change 3 years ago actually being a reduction for most climbers!

We are keeping our family sessions at the same price however, £7.50 for an adult climb and £5 for a child climb between 10 and 12 on Sunday mornings.

Due to our summer closure, we won't be running our social in August, so this is the last one until the 4th of September. ☀️

🚨 Summer Closure! 🚨

20th July - 16th August 

We'll reopen on the 17th of August straight back to normal hours. 

Similar to the last couple of years, we're going to close for a few weeks over summer. It always gets very quiet here over summer as people are out doing things, so this gives us a chance to take a bit of holiday, and more excitingly to get some jobs done like replacing sections of matting! 🙄

We'll also be doing a full set so there's plenty of new routes to climb when we reopen 😊

While we're closed, you've got the perfect opportunity to visit one of the other local(ish) walls, with Northern Problems in Whitehaven opening soon, and Ambleside Climbing Wall and Kendal Wall great venues for a change of scenery and brilliant bouldering or roped climbing!

For those who aren't aware we do also run a loyalty card in conjunction with Kendal Wall, where 5 climbs here gets you 50% off at any of their Lakeland Climbing Centres! Please do speak to us on your next visit if you want one 😊

Just in time for the bank holiday, we've got plenty of new routes to have a go at!

We are open from 10:00-18:00 over the weekend and 13:00-21:00 on bank holiday Monday, we also have our weekly family session from 10:00-12:00 on Sunday morning ☀️
