Exciting new opportunity for two Level 3 Early years qualified practitioners.
Manor Twiglets Nursery are looking for enthusiastic practitioners to join our team at our new setting at the Belmont Centre in Uckfield. One practitioner for our Baby Room working 30 hours a week over three days and one practitioner for our Preschool Room working 38 hours a week over four days. Both positions are full year.
We aim to provide a nurturing, caring and fun setting for ages 6 months to school age.
The ideal practitioners will have experience of working with children, have lots of energy, initiative, be able to work well in a team and be passionate about working with children and committed to their development and wellbeing.
Responsibilities will include to plan, deliver and evaluate engaging educational activities tailored to children's individual needs and interests. Plus, supporting children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development in accordance with the early years frameworks.
We are a charity run, not for profit setting following the Curiosity Approach ethos, currently working towards our accreditation.
Twiglets Nursery are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, therefore an enhanced DBS will be required for successful applicants as part of our safer recruitment policy.

Good Afternoon

We would like to make everyone aware that we have not received an update from Ofsted regarding the registration of our additional setting.
Once we receive confirmation from Ofsted and we have an opening date, we will contact all of those who have registered interest and provide them with all the necessary information.

Exciting new opportunities for two full year Deputy Childcare Managers, one at our existing site and one at our new site due to be opened shortly, subject to Ofsted registration.

Applicants must have highly effective communication and managerial skills and be able to work independently and competently to meet targets. To have in-depth knowledge and understanding of Ofsted requirements and EYFS principles and practices. Good knowledge of child protection, Health & Safety issues and all current legislation is essential.

We require at least a level 3 in Early Years and Childcare and a minimum of four years post qualification experience. Ideally applicants will have experience working in a leadership role, although for the right candidate, training and mentoring in this area can be provided.

Applicants should naturally be calm, personable, professional, confident and helpful with all matters regarding the team and the running of the setting.

Deputy Managers will work under the direction of the Childcare Manager and deputise for them as and when required.

This Deputy role will primarily be working with the children showing good practice and supporting the team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop. To also meet the needs of individual children regardless of any disabilities, family backgrounds or medical history.

Please note this is not an office based role, time for relevant admin tasks to be completed , will be organised by the Childcare Manager as and when required.
