We work with a variety of early years settings and schools ranging from

small independent nurseries to specialist private schools. Our programmes are delivered online and in the workplace by expert tutors with teaching sessions and meetings scheduled to suit this niche sector.

✨ Three days of planning, collaborating... and a little bit of fun! ✨

This week, the Campus Training team came together for three productive days to reflect, plan, and map out an exciting year ahead.

From sharing ideas and setting goals to developing new opportunities for our learners, it's been a fantastic few days of teamwork, collaboration, and looking ahead to what's next.

Of course, it wasn't all work! We made time to relax, laugh together, and strengthen the relationships that make our team so special. 💙

We're also delighted to officially welcome Stacey to the Campus Training family! 🎉 We can't wait to see the positive impact she'll make as part of our growing team.

🌿🌍 Celebrate World Nature Conservation Day – 28th July 🌍🌿

🌱 World Nature Conservation Day is the perfect opportunity to help little ones discover the importance of caring for our planet through fun, hands-on activities!

Why not try some of these simple ideas with your children?

🌼 Plant native flowers or vegetables and watch them grow.
🐞 Build a mini bug hotel using twigs, leaves and bamboo.
🐦 Make a bird feeder from a recycled plastic bottle.
🍃 Go on a nature scavenger hunt to find leaves, stones, feathers and spider webs.
🎨 Create beautiful nature art using fallen leaves, pinecones and twigs.
♻️ Practice recycling by sorting clean household packaging.
📚 Read stories about protecting our environment, wildlife and oceans.

These activities encourage children to explore the outdoors, develop a love of nature and learn how even small actions can make a big difference to protecting our environment for future generations. 💚

🏅 Sports Day: More Than Just Winning Races! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

As the school year comes to an end, Sports Day is one of the most exciting events in the calendar. While it's full of fun, laughter, and friendly competition, it also plays a vital role in supporting every child's development.

Sports Day helps children to:
🌟 Build confidence by trying new challenges and celebrating personal achievements.
🤝 Develop teamwork and communication skills as they encourage and support their peers.
💪 Improve physical health, coordination, balance, and gross motor skills through active participation.
😊 Strengthen resilience by learning how to cope with both success and disappointment in a positive way.
🎯 Enhance social and emotional development by practicing patience, perseverance, respect, and good sportsmanship.
🧠 Promote problem-solving and decision-making as children follow rules, adapt to different activities, and think strategically.

💦 Splish, Splash, Learn! 💦

🌈 Try these fun water play ideas at home:

🎨 Water Painting
Grab a paintbrush and a bucket of water and let your child "paint" patios, fences or walls. Watch their artwork magically disappear as it dries!

🧸 Wash Day Fun
Add some bubbles to a bowl of water and let your little one wash their favourite toys or dolls' clothes. They'll love helping while developing independence and responsibility.

⚓ Float or Sink?
Collect everyday objects and see if they float or sink. Encourage your child to make predictions before testing their ideas – a brilliant early science activity!

🥤 Pouring & Transferring
Use cups, jugs, funnels, bottles and containers to pour, scoop and transfer water. This helps build hand-eye coordination and strengthens fine motor skills.

🌼 Bonus Activity
Use any leftover water to let your child water the plants or garden – a lovely way to encourage caring for the environment.

⚠️ Safety First:
Children should always be closely supervised around water, no matter how shallow it is.

✨ Learning through play doesn't have to be complicated – sometimes all you need is a little water and a big imagination!

🎉 Congratulations! 🎉

A huge congratulations to one of our Level 3 Early Years Apprentices on successfully completing her apprenticeship! 🌟

This is an incredible achievement, especially after such a difficult time. Despite the challenges she faced, she never gave up and worked incredibly hard to achieve her Level 3 Early Years qualification and gain her licence to practice.

It has been a pleasure to support you throughout your journey and watch you grow in confidence and thrive within your practice. Your determination, resilience and commitment have truly paid off.

Achieving an overall distinction means they excelled in both their professional discussion and their observation during their End-Point Assessment – an outstanding achievement that reflects their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to supporting children and young people.
