With great sadness we have to let you know that ACRES will no longer be delivering adult learning courses after the summer. The ACRES Board has taken this very difficult decision due to the increasing financial challenges that ACRES faces as a small provider in the context of the current cost of living crisis and a changed adult learning environment post-Covid. ACRES has offered consistently high quality learning provision for many years as a result of the dedication and commitment of all staff and tutors however, despite the best efforts of both the staff team and the Board, ACRES is not able to generate enough income to cover costs sufficiently and so no courses will be offered or delivered after 31st July 2024.
Students on Examination Courses
We would like to assure all our students awaiting GCSE examination results that we will continue to be here for you on GCSE Results Day on 22nd August and to provide any post results services you may require. GCSE certificates will be issued to you in September.
For our students studying Functional Skills and ESOL qualifications, please note, any outstanding results letters and certificates will be issued to you by the end of August.
