Ok therapy is good but have you tried DOGS? 🐾

The tragedy of life isn’t death. The tragedy is being physically alive, but completely asleep to your own life.
Most women are trapped on an endless achievement rollercoaster—collecting credentials, people-pleasing, and running on fumes to prove they are ‘good people.’ We focus so much on doing that we completely forget how to actually exist.
Our bodies try to whisper to us for years through chronic exhaustion, burnout, and anxiety. If we don’t listen, the universe is forced to upgrade from a whisper to a bloody big cancer truck or similar crisis to make us stop.
That storm forces a brutal, beautiful life audit: What obligations, toxic belief systems, and mismatched expectations do you still need to remove because they are stripping your joy and ruining your health?
Stop sacrificing your soul to please a world that isn’t looking. Clawing back your health is a brutal uphill struggle. Turn your light back up, trust your intuition, and start being fully, electrically alive right now.
🤍 Stop forcing things to fit and let your own light shine.

This year has tested my mental health in ways I never expected.

And I’ve realised that you can be positive, strong and grateful for your life, and still struggle

We talk a lot about mental health awareness, but awareness alone isn’t enough. We need connection.

We can all say, “I’m here if you need anything” or “My door is always open” — and mean it wholeheartedly, but do we truly act when it’s needed ? ❤️

What if the person who’s struggling doesn’t know how to reach out?

What if they don’t want to be a burden, don’t know what to say, or simply don’t have the energy to ask for help?

That’s why we need to stop waiting for people to reach out and start reaching in & not just once!

Send the message.
Make the call.
Invite them for a cuppa.
Check in again.
Notice when someone goes quiet.

You don’t need to fix their problems or find the perfect words. Sometimes, just showing up and reminding someone they’re not alone can make all the difference.

This World Mental Health Day, let’s do more than talk about mental health.

Don’t just tell people they’re not alone. Help them feel it. 🩷

There are times in life when you have absolutely no idea what comes next.

That’s where I’m at right now.

I’m figuring things out. Changing things. Letting go of some things. Trying new things. And slowly working out what actually makes me happy these days.

But one thing I know for certain…

I LOVE dogs. 😂🐾

And this little girl has arrived at exactly the right time.

Tiny Texas. 🤎

There’s something about dogs that brings you right back to the present moment.

They don’t care about your five-year plan.

They don’t care what you’ve achieved.

They don’t care if you’ve had a productive day.

They just want to be beside you.

And maybe that’s something I need more of right now.

Less worrying about where I’m going.

More enjoying where I am.

More fresh air.
More movement.
More laughter.
More love.
More little moments that make life feel good.

I don’t know exactly what this next chapter looks like yet.

But I do know I want it to feel more like THIS. 🤎🐾

And apparently, this chapter comes with a tiny Cavapoo called Texas & Ernie Cockapoo of course!

Here’s to following the things that make us feel alive. ❤️.

It’s ADHD Awareness Month, so I thought I’d share why I never thought I could possibly have ADHD…

I was the quiet girl who did well at school. I went on to get THREE degrees. I was successful, capable, independent, had friends, a career and looked like I had my s**t together.

So how could I possibly have ADHD?

Turns out… pretty easily. 😂

Here are some of the contradictions that made me miss it:

1. I could concentrate for HOURS… on the right thing.
Give me something I’m interested in and I can hyperfocus. Give me something boring and my brain has left the building.

2. I could be incredibly productive… and completely unable to start something simple.
Knowing what needs doing and being able to make myself do it are two very different things.

3. I looked organised.
But a lot of that came from overthinking, over-preparing and trying to make sure nothing could catch me off guard.

4. I could be confident and sociable… then overthink everything afterwards.
I can chat to anyone, then replay the conversation later wondering why the hell I said what I said. 😂

5. I wasn’t “hyperactive”.
I could sit still. But I LOVE weight training, theme parks and dancing around my kitchen like I’m headlining Glastonbury. 😝 My brain clearly likes stimulation.

And the biggest contradiction?

I was successful.

Three degrees. A career. A business. Teaching. Creating.

So I assumed ADHD couldn’t possibly be the answer.

But ADHD in women doesn’t always look like the stereotype.

Sometimes it looks like a capable woman who has spent years developing coping strategies without realising that’s what she’s doing.

Getting diagnosed later in life has made me look back at so many things I thought were just “me” and realise…

Oh. That was ADHD.

If you’re a woman who has ever thought, “But I can’t have ADHD… I manage perfectly well,” maybe this is your reminder to look a little closer.

What ADHD contradiction made you doubt your own experience? 👇🏼

Sometimes the person who spends their life helping everyone else heal is the one who needs healing too. ❤️‍🩹

I’ve spent years helping, listening, supporting, teaching and encouraging other people (which I LOVE) — often without even realising how much of myself I was giving away.

Then life stopped me in my tracks with a TRUCK !

Cancer, surgery, grief, loss and burnout made me slow down and finally turn some of that care back towards myself.

And I’ve realised that mental health and healing aren’t just about getting through the bad days. Sometimes it’s recognising that you’re exhausted from always being the one everyone else leans on.

I’m learning that self-care isn’t selfish. Asking for help isn’t weakness. And you don’t have to keep holding everyone else up when you’re struggling yourself.

Sometimes you need to stop helping everyone else heal… and give yourself permission to heal too. ❤️‍🩹

If you’re always the one checking on everyone else, this is your reminder to check on yourself.

You have to say to yourself ‘I got you’ 👊🏼

🏖️ I thought losing my b***s would ruin beach holidays…

Turns out, I was wrong.

Yes, there were some unexpected perks…

No b**b sweat.
No constantly adjusting my bikini.
No trying to keep two DDs where they belonged.
And as a 5’3” woman… I hadn’t realised quite how much weight I’d literally been carrying around! 😅

But if I’m honest…

That wasn’t what I was worried about.

I was worried about being seen.

I wondered if people would stare.
If I’d feel different.
If I’d spend the whole holiday thinking about what was missing.

Instead…

I spent it thinking about the sea.
The sunshine.
The laughter.
The people I love.

And that’s when I realised something.

Most people aren’t looking at us anywhere near as much as we think they are.

They’re too busy living their own lives.

And maybe we should be too.

If you’re avoiding the beach because of scars, stretch marks, cellulite, a tummy, missing b***s, or anything else…

Please don’t let insecurity steal memories you’ll never get back.

The people who matter won’t care.

Wear the bikini.
Get in the sea.
Take the photo.

Because one day you won’t remember what your body looked like…

You’ll remember how your life felt.

And trust me…

Life is far too beautiful to spend it hiding. 🤍

Here’s what life has taught me … 🌍 👣
Sometimes, you just need to take your feet somewhere else 🇯🇪

Not because it fixes everything.

But because sometimes a change of scenery creates a change of perspective.

The last couple of months I’ve stepped away from social media, spent time with people who fill my cup, breathed some sea air and reminded myself that healing isn’t something you have to perform.

It doesn’t always happen in hospitals or appointments.

Sometimes it happens walking on a beach.
Over coffee with a friend.
Laughing until your stomach hurts.
Watching a sunset.
Putting your phone away.
Remembering who you are outside of everything you’re going through.

This trip hasn’t changed my diagnosis.

It hasn’t magically removed the challenges ahead.

But it has reminded me that even when life throws something huge at you…

there is still life to be lived 💯

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, exhausted or stuck…

Take your feet somewhere else.

A different beach.
A different café.
A different path.
A different conversation.

Sometimes the smallest change in where you stand changes what you can see.

And if there’s one thing this whole experience has taught me, it’s this:

Life is far too precious to spend all of it waiting for things to get better before you start living it!

I love you 🫶🏼

Like how some people disappear or ghost you when life gets hard.

How overworking yourself and constantly putting everyone else first isn’t actually something to be proud of.

And how quickly the things we complain about become the very things we desperately wish we could do again.

I cannot WAIT to:
Walk my dog on my own & hold the lead properly
Pick up dog poo 😅 💩
Cook food
Hoover 😆
Carry washing
Wash the bathroom 🚽
And do all the boring little things I never thought twice about before!

Funny isn’t it?

The mundane things suddenly become privileges.

And experiences?
They matter even more than I already thought they did.

Not the stuff.
Not the image.
Not the nonsense we stress ourselves over.

👉 the moments
👉 the people
👉 the memories
👉 feeling alive

That’s the real stuff.

And honestly, I think life shakes us eventually one way or another.

The question is whether we wake up before it does.

Because you can spend years walking the wrong path, surrounded by the wrong people, chasing things that don’t actually matter to you…

until something forces you to stop and really look at your life.

And whilst I would never choose this…

it has changed my perspective in ways I never expected.

And honestly?

That perspective feels like one of the greatest gifts of all 🤍

Make sure YOU live fully today

Stacey xx

Pain shows up in a lot of ways.

Not just the big things.
Not just the obvious moments.

👉 life, in general, can hurt sometimes.

⸻

But what if…

👉 we looked at it differently?

Not as something to avoid.
Not as something to fight constantly.

But as a reminder…

👉 that we’re alive
👉 that we’re feeling
👉 that we’re in it

⸻

Because the truth is…

The same capacity that allows us to feel pain
is the same capacity that allows us to feel:

👉 joy
👉 connection
👉 love

⸻

So maybe it’s not about wishing it away.

👉 maybe it’s about choosing how we see it.

⸻

Not easy.

But powerful.

Someone might need this perspective today 🙂
