On behalf of the students and parents, Twycross House School are proud to announce a superb set of GCSE results achieved by our 2026 cohort. 21% of the results were at grade 9 with 62% at grades 7, 8 or 9.

We must congratulate all of our students for their success in their GCSE examinations. In particular, Nomonde Musoko achieved Grade 9 in all ten of her subjects. Grace Claringbull, Baris Clarke, Finn Doyle, Alice Forman, Haney Li, Riley Mayles & Liberty Walton all achieved grade 9 in 5 or more subjects. In all, 24 students achieved grade 8 or 9 in 5 or more subjects equating to 51% of the cohort.

Headmaster Steve Assinder said, “We are very proud of these results, which are a credit to the students' work ethic, the support given by their parents and of course our dedicated teaching staff. We look forward to welcoming the students back at school to study with us for their A Levels.“

Twycross House School, on behalf of the students and parents, are proud to
announce an excellent set of A-level results achieved by the 2026 cohort. This year
saw 52% of the 100 A level exams taken achieve an A* or A grade. The cohort also
achieved a fantastic 81% A* - B and 100% pass rate across the 17 A Level subjects
studied.

We congratulate all of our students for their successes this year, some of which
deserve a particular mention, Oliver Salt (A*, A*, A*, A*) will read Mathematics at the
University of Birmingham, Jessica Salt (A*, A*, A*, A) will attend Durham reading
Natural Sciences, James Garland (A*, A*, A*, A) will read Mechanical Engineering at
Bath, Lauren Garland (A*, A*, A*, A) will attend St. Andrews reading Chemistry,
Georgina Saunders (A*, A*, A) will study Medicine at Hull York Medical School,
Oliver Edwards (A*, A, A, A) will read Economics at Durham, Alice Shotton (A*, A, A)
will read Chemical Engineering at Leeds, Martha Morris (A*, A, A) will read English
and History at Bristol, Sophie Ashford (A*, A, A) will read Modern Languages and
Cultures at Durham, Erin Fenwick (A*, A, A) will read Business Management at
University of Manchester, Barnaby Crew (A, A, A) will read Geoscience at Durham
and James Hicks (A, A, C) has been accepted on to a highly competitive course with
PwC and Newcastle University which is an accelerated programme towards
becoming an ICAEW Chartered Accountant.

Headmaster Steve Assinder said: “We are extremely proud of these results, which
are a credit to the students' commitment to study, the support given by their parents
and of course our teaching staff. The Upper Sixth students have shown immense
self-discipline and hard work to achieve these results. We wish them every success
in the next stage of their educational journey and look forward to celebrating their
achievements at the Presentation Evening in November. “

We are delighted to share the exciting news that the renovations to our preschool building are almost complete. The updated space has been thoughtfully redesigned and furnished to create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for the children.

We would like to invite all prospective parents and children to come to our open sessions between 9am-10am and 2pm-3pm on Wednesday 20th May. This will be an opportunity for you to explore the new facilities, see the improvements first-hand, and get a feel for the learning environment.
