Aurora Summerfields School - Exam Results Celebration! 🎉

Last week, Aurora Wilden View School were delighted to welcome another fantastic team of volunteers from Portakabin who generously gave their time and energy to help refresh our school ready for the start of the new academic year.

The team took on the huge task of painting our entrance areas, passages, and staircases. Their attention to detail, dedication, and work ethic were truly outstanding.

A huge thank you to Portakabin and their wonderful team of volunteers for their support, professionalism, and commitment to helping Aurora Wilden View.

Earlier this week, the team at Aurora Wilden View School welcomed a dedicated group of volunteers from Portakabin who generously gave their time to help enhance the school grounds.

They weeded and laid wood chippings at the front of the school, cleared rubbish from the Forest School area, moved pallets, stacked tyres, organised log stores, refreshed the fire circle and completed the preparation of a planter.

Their hard work has helped create a cleaner, safer and more attractive outdoor space for pupils to enjoy.

A sincere thank you to Portakabin for investing in our school community and helping us make a lasting difference to our outdoor learning environment. 💚

Aurora Brampton Valley School: Ready for Key Handover

After months of planning, designing and building, Aurora Brampton Valley School in Market Harborough is one step closer to opening its doors.

Headteacher Emma Wiliams said: “Today, we officially received the keys from the builders meaning we can now begin to instal furniture and equipment in preparation for our autumn opening.

“Every corner of the new building has been carefully planned. The parquet hall, with its warm herringbone pattern, will soon echo with assemblies, laughter and shared achievements. The classrooms, calm and light filled, are designed to nurture focus and belonging. The specialist spaces - from the science lab to the kitchen - reflect our commitment to practical learning and independence, giving students the tools to explore and create.

“Aurora Brampton Valley will provide a safe, inspiring environment for children and young people with complex needs. It will be a place where every learner is known, valued and supported to reach their potential. The design embodies that ethos: flexible spaces for therapy and teaching, sensory friendly finishes and outdoor areas that invite calm and connection.

“The courtyard canopy, visible from the classrooms, is a space that will host outdoor learning, quiet reflection and joyful play - a reminder that education happens everywhere, not just within four walls.

“As founding headteacher, I feel immense pride in what’s been achieved so far. This project has been about more than constructing a school; it’s about building a community. Aurora Brampton Valley will be a place where staff feel empowered, families feel welcomed and students feel safe to be themselves.

“I can’t wait to welcome our first students and families into this beautiful new home for learning.”
