A love of reading starts from a young age. We are lucky to have a couple of volunteers who come in to read with the children each week.

Margaret is a familiar face here and the children get excited when she arrives. Sometimes it can just be a little calm space for the children when busier activities are happening.

We have been reading the new Julia Donaldson book 'Gruffalo Granny' to the children. In the story the Gruffalos prepare a nice stew for Granny's impending visit.

The children made their own gruffalo stew for snack time today. Identifying and chopping the vegetables. One child suggested adding a mouse but Jodie declined.

**AGM tonight at 7:45pm **

A quick reminder that our Annual General Meeting takes place this Wednesday evening at 7:45pm

We’d love to see as many of you there as possible. As a committee‑run preschool, the AGM is an essential part of keeping our setting open, compliant, and running smoothly for your children.

Your support really does make a difference, even just attending helps us meet the requirements we must fulfil as a charity.
We do have some vital roles we need to fill and we will be available to answer any questions you may have. We’ll keep the meeting friendly, short, and focused. Please come along and be part of the team that keeps Turvey Preschool thriving.

Thank you for your continued support

Welcome back to a new year at Turvey Preschool. We have had a fantastic start to the term so far with new starters settling really well.

We are looking forward to our AGM on 30th September. Please find details on the poster attached.
We would love to see you there
