After many years teaching part-time and full-time, I've decided that it's time to retire my teaching practice and so The Drum Shack will be closing as from the end of March 2023. I'd like to thank all my amazing students over the years, it's been excellent fun and I've learnt as much from you as you have from me.

Whilst I am retiring from teaching I'm not actually proper "retiring". I'm hoping to spend a lot more time playing live and I'm going back to university to study Archaeology just for the intellectual interest/ challenge. ###

Learn to play the drums or develop your existing skills at The Drum Shack. Spacious drum studio with five high quality drum kits and cymbals. During the week tuition is 1-2-1, on Saturdays it's in small groups of 4 or 5 at a time. Come and play just for fun, to learn how to play your favourite songs...

Hello All - I hope you are enjoying the summer!

My next 4 week Drum Lesson courses start on Saturday September 11th and run for 4 consecutive weeks. Cost for the 4 week course is £40. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. I have three classes running each Saturday. Each class has a maximum of 5 students.
1. Beginner Kids (aged 8+) - 10am-10.45am
2. Beginner Adults - 10.45am - 11.30am
3. Improvers (can already play but want to progress) - 11.30am-12.15pm
These lessons are a great way to give drumming a try or to improve your playing.
