Turriff Parent & Toddler Group is a great place to take your children to have a play and a snack and get together with other parents/carers; it’s as much for the adults as it is for the children. Looking after little people brings its challenges and chatting with others in the same situation can help make those challenges a little less trying (at least for a while!)
The sessions run every Tuesday
and Thursday from 10.00 to 11.30. Session charges are £2.00 plus £0.50 per child, babies 0-6 months FREE. The last while has made us all very aware of the importance of good hygiene and staying at home when unwell. Please do not attend if you or your child/children are unwell. Sessions
Our hall and the kitchen are set up by a Committee Member prior to the start of a session. Soft coverings are washed on a regular basis and toys/mats are wiped down each week. Separate areas for babies and toddlers are laid out. Please be mindful of older children around the baby play area. We ask that everyone helps tidy up at the end of a session, but please try and keep our cupboards tidy and organised. Committee Members will be on hand to put toys back where they are stored. Snack
Snack will be prepared and laid out by the Committee Member on Duty, please help yourself to tea/coffee and something to eat. Please advise a member of the committee if you or your child have any intolerances or allergies. We will do our best to include you. Mugs/plates can be washed as you go. Events
Throughout the year we plan special events such as Halloween and Christmas Parties. These events may be charged for to cover party food/gifts. Any events will be advertised on our page, with any fees detailed. Fundraising
We have no fundraisers planned at the moment, but we hope to get back to buttery mornings and Craft Fayre’s. Committee Members
