TA 101 - 2-day event
Transactional Analysis (TA) is one of the clearest, most usable psychological frameworks for understanding what happens between people, and what happens within us. In this in person TA101, you will learn the core concepts of TA in a way that is practical, relational, and immediately applicable, whether you are a therapist-in-training, a practitioner from another modality, a coach, a manager, or simply someone who wants sharper language for human behaviour.
This TA101 is open to everyone, including people exploring a career change into counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, HR, leadership, education, healthcare, or other helping professions. If you are drawn to work that is meaningful, relational, and psychologically informed, TA offers a structured map of communication, personality, and change, without losing the complexity of real life. You will leave with concepts you can use immediately, and a clearer sense of whether this field, and this way of thinking, fits you.

Location: Worth School – Paddockhurst Road, Turners Hill RH10 4SD

Introduction to Jungian Psychology: Jung’s Map of the Soul – Dr Murray Stein

A five-session online introduction to Carl Jung’s analytical psychology. This five-session online CPD course offers an accessible but theoretically substantial introduction to Jungian psychology and analytical psychology. Using Murray Stein’s acclaimed book, Jung’s Map of the Soul: An Introduction, as our guide, we will gradually construct a map of Jung’s model of the human psyche.
Across ten hours of live teaching and discussion, participants will explore consciousness, the unconscious, psychological complexes, archetypes, psychic energy, the persona, the shadow, inner figures, the Self, individuation, and synchronicity.

The course is suitable both for people encountering Jung for the first time and for practitioners or trainees who want to understand how the different elements of his theory connect.

TA 101 – IN PERSON 2-day event

In this online TA101, you will learn the core concepts of TA in a way that is practical, relational, and immediately applicable, whether you are a therapist-in-training, a practitioner from another modality, a coach, a manager, or simply someone who wants sharper language for human behaviour.

Who is this workshop for?
This TA101 is open to everyone, including people exploring a career change into counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, HR, leadership, education, healthcare, or other helping professions. If you are drawn to work that is meaningful, relational, and psychologically informed, TA offers a structured map of communication, personality, and change, without losing the complexity of real life. You will leave with concepts you can use immediately, and a clearer sense of whether this field, and this way of thinking, fits you.
Our TA101 is also designed for people who want to go beyond a purely “toolkit” approach, and reach depth: how scripts form, how unconscious loyalties organise a life, how repeating relational patterns become both protective and imprisoning, and how change requires more than insight. Alongside the foundational TA curriculum, we will introduce a depth-oriented lens that stays grounded in TA while making room for symbolic meaning, body-based awareness, and the archetypal undercurrents that shape personality and relationship.

This is a small-group professional training space designed for depth, participation, and high-quality feedback.

Preparing for the CTA requires more than revising concepts. It asks practitioners to demonstrate a clear and integrated understanding of TA theory, clinical application, and professional identity. Who is this Group for?
This group is for practitioners actively preparing for the CTA exam and looking for a learning space that combines Transactional Analysis theory, reflective practice, collaborative learning, and professional development.

About the trainer

Valeria Villa is a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and supervisor (CTA-P, PTSTA-P) based in Ferney-Voltaire, France.
After an earlier career in philosophy, she turned towards psychotherapy, where existential questions could be encountered not only conceptually, but through lived, relational, and embodied experience.
Her practice is rooted in Transactional Analysis and informed by pre- and perinatal psychology, attachment theory, and systemic and psychosocial approaches.
She has a strong interest in psychotherapy research, theory development, and reflective practice, and brings both depth and rigour to her teaching.
