Holy smoke. We've just delivered our first ever workshop! ✨️✨️✨️

Just want to say an absolutely gigantic thank you to all the wonderful solo founders who joined us today. They all took time out of their business, we shared our stories, we worked on our values, our goals and we took some actual photos in the beautiful Caracol Glamping.

What a phenomenal group of women. A huge thanks to Kathryn for going on this crazy ride with me and to Claire and Ade for letting us use their magical space.

My heart is full. My jaw is aching and I'm knackered but incredibly grateful 🙏 🌟❤️

Meta tiers were released yesterday. Here's what you get..

The jury is out as to how this will affect organic content. But ultimately it's not pay or vanish, it's pay and get nudged.

⚫️Essential - £11 a month. A blue tick and enhanced protection. Include links and reviews in your profile. Replies handled by Meta's AI business agent....

⚫️Advanced £37 a month. Everything above plus schedule stories,4 clickable links in your posts and reels a month. Analytics you can export, deeper audience insights and let your team access your account.

⚫️Expert £110 a month. More AI agent capacity. More linked devices, monthly credits for broadcasts. Built for the bigger businesses. This could be a good option if your business spends a lot on scheduling software already, including manychat etc..

⚫️Max - roughly £370 a month. Max AI capacity and feature access. This really is for the big brands.

In other words, the top two are probably of more interest to small businesses. You're essentially paying for AI 'help'

I was meant to go to a wonderful networking event today (shout out to Bitch and Boast) but I felt rubbish when I woke up. And its got worse throughout the day.

I've now taken myself to bed.

The old Gini would have pushed through and not 'given in' but I'm learning that actually pausing is as important as doing.

Today I'm giving myself permission to just rest and get better.

Fancy a sleepover? 😉

This was the pub sign that stopped me in my tracks! You thought I was being naughty ;-)

The pub has guest rooms upstairs that barely anyone books. Their regulars are mostly local parents who don't need a room. But their friends, the ones travelling in for dinner? They're the ones moaning about taxis home 🚗

So instead of a boring 'Guest rooms available' sign, they spoke directly to the people who are actually likely to recommend it, in language they already use with each other.

Same rooms. Same price. Completely different result 👍

That's what knowing your audience actually does. It's not about doing more. It's about saying the right thing to the right person.

This is your friendly reminder to stop! Turns out, having Summer 'off' with the kids was actually more work, than work 🤣

Yesterday I was treated to a wonderful sound bath in a bell tent with Toni ✨️ Which was exactly what I needed.

It gave me the space, the right sound (no one screaming in my ear, asking for snacks or winging that they're bored) and the calm that I needed to reset and feel like me again. Thank you Toni 😊

My eldest started secondary school today 😫 He walked in fine. I was a blubbing mess 🥲

Walking into my NEW girlie office cheered me right up! I mean, it's hard to be sad when you're surrounded by plaster pink walls.

I love my boys (and my hubby too!) but living in an all boy zone can get a bit much. So I wanted one room to just be me in.

So queue hours of pouring over Pinterest, which is always my go to for interior inspo.

This fabulous Strength print from GoodMood looks great against the plaster pink walls (it was a great price too!) Let's be honest, being a solo founder requires a boat load of strength.

I picked this chunk of Rose Quartz up on one of our day trips and saw it as my sign to go all in girlie.

This hunky chunk of waney edge oak was made by my fabulous friend's husband and it's absolutely perfect in here S.F.EVEREST&SONS LTD

So I'm all set now...! Who else starts back to work today?
