Welcome back to PQA!
What a great start back to the new academic year. We have kicked off our panto projects exploring comedy techniques and character development in drama. Learnt our finale number in MT. While in film we explored different shot types and had a go at shooting our own mini film. Poppets also launched their new project Moonlight Magic!

It is going to be a good term at PQA Tunbridge Wells and there is still time to join us and be in our panto 🌟

Get ready to laugh because our next term is all about COMEDY!

Introducing LAUGH A MINUTE — our brand-new comedy project giving students the chance to explore two very different styles of performance:

🎬 Sketch Comedy for Screen
Creating and performing hilarious sketches for camera, working on comic timing, characters and acting for screen.

🎭 PANTO!
Oh yes we are! Expect big characters, brilliant comedy, audience interaction and all the fun and chaos of traditional pantomime!

From comedy on camera to comedy on stage, Laugh a Minute is going to be packed with performance opportunities, creativity and, of course… LOTS of laughs! 😂

We’re still smiling as we look back at these amazing moments from Newsies JR. Every rehearsal, every song, every dance and every standing ovation reminded us just how talented and special our PQA family is.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible performers, families and creative team for making this production one to remember. We’re already missing everyone!

Have the most wonderful summer, make lots of memories, and we can’t wait to welcome you all back in September for another exciting term full of creativity, confidence and fun. 🎭💙
