Happy International Yoga Day! The positions (asanas) we typically associate with yoga are just one small part of a much broader science and art of living. In yoga we learn to move so that we can be comfortable sitting still. I like to ask myself: how can I bring this sense of stillness to my life in this moment? Yoga is a practice for a reason. Life is full of distractions, both pleasurable and painful. Returning to stillness and cultivating “active stillness” is a practice. 🙏🏻💕 #yoga #internationalyogaday #2024 #meditation #practice
