What book to choose? Is the book my child likes appropriate and challenging enough for me to see progress? How can I encourage my child to read more so that other areas of the curriculum come easier? What can I as a parent do to encourage a love of reading more?

All of these questions are ones that I know have been in the minds of many parents I know - including mine, especially as a mum of boys. They are not uncommon and if you are lucky enough to have a child that truly relishes time to read then perhaps you just need some pointers in terms of how to maintain this.
