What book to choose? Is the book my child likes appropriate and challenging enough for me to see progress? How can I encourage my child to read more so that other areas of the curriculum come easier? What can I as a parent do to encourage a love of reading more?

All of these questions are ones that I know have been in the minds of many parents I know - including mine, especially as a mum of boys. They are not uncommon and if you are lucky enough to have a child that truly relishes time to read then perhaps you just need some pointers in terms of how to maintain this.

Hi everyone. Just setting up my own business offering tutoring/home schooling. Have 18 years of primary experience, both in the private and state sector as well as 6 years of tutoring experience including coaching for the 11+. I have experience with children with additional needs and have a keen interest in dyslexia/dyspraxia.
