ABOUT KATIE

I am a highly experienced English teacher who has worked in various leadership positions within English departments in a range of schools. I am also an experienced GCSE English examiner and currently mark English Literature for AQA. This means I have excellent up-to-date knowledge of what the exam boards require. I have a passion for both my subject and for teaching young people. I feel strongly that all students are able to feel confident and achieve in English and that there are no barriers to this that cannot be overcome. I adapt and tailor my teaching approach to the needs and ambitions of the individual, and I begin all my tutoring contracts with a free diagnostic consultation with the student and their caregiver.
