The Skinners' Kent Academy

Last Thursday we held our annual Sports Day at Tonbridge School Racetrack. We had sunny weather, lots of medals, and 10 Academy records being broken! Well done to everybody who took part.

Students at The Skinners' Kent Academy are celebrating the Academy's best ever results in the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme (IBCP), with 67% of all subject grades awarded at Grades 7-5, the equivalent of A*–B at A Level.

This year's outstanding results have helped students secure offers from a wide range of leading Universities across the UK. Among them are offers to study Law at University of Cambridge, Aerospace Engineering at University of Brighton, Biomedical Science at University of Surrey and International Human Rights Law at University of York.

Congratulations to our Year 13 Students who collected their IBCP Results today!

We are delighted to share that this year we have achieved our best ever IB results, including one student receiving straight 7's (equivalent to A*s), and 67% of all grades being A*-B equivalents.

This is an incredible achievement and our students should be extremely proud of themselves for all of their hard work.

We would like the remind parent that there will be a short parent information evening tomorrow evening from 5:00pm to 6:00pm, outlining your child's journey through the remainder of Key Stage 4, the purpose of PPEs and, the support available to help students prepare successfully. This session will be held by our Key Stage 4 Pastoral Team; we look forward to seeing you there.
