Peak Skills are running a Blended Paediatric First Aid course with the class based element running on the 15th August in Southborough. Suitable for Childminders, Nannies, Early Years workers or parents. Please message me here or email [email protected] for more information!

All packed up for our first day back training in 12 weeks! Essential workers can now resume class based first aid training, with precautions in place. Get in touch if you need a course!

We are delighted to announce that Peak Skills can now deliver training to 'Essential Workers'. We have a number of precautions in place to significantly reduce the risk of infection, including 'Blended Learning' and a full Covid-19 risk assessment.

After the changes to working advice we wanted to update you all on how that affects first aid training. Face to face training is still not recommended, so the extension to dates of expiring certificates still stands. Please remember that furloughed staff can still undertake training, so to get ahead of the game and make good use of this time why not consider getting statutory first aid training underway by using our on-line first aid at work training, which can be completed to achieve the full qualification in a shorter class based session once this is possible. We hope you are all keeping well. There have been developments this week regarding returning to work in England and I would like to update you on how things stand with regard to first aid training. It is still unwise to conduct face to face training in the majority of settings so the extension to expiring first aid at work certificates still stands. Please remember that even furloughed staff can undertake training, so if you would like to get ahead of the game and use this time well, please email or message me about starting statutory first aid at work training on line, to be completed in the classroom once it is safe. We can offer blended workplace courses with on line modules that can be completed now and then shorter class based sessions once we can gather together again to complete the qualification. These are suitable for all workplaces including childcare settings. We can also offer on line courses for families or updating. Please get in touch if we can help!
