✨ What happens when our settings are closed? ✨

While the children and families at our settings enjoy the summer break, we’re busy behind the scenes making sure everything is ready for another fantastic term come September.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:

🧼 Deep cleaning throughout all settings to create a fresh, welcoming environment.

📚 Staff training to continue developing our knowledge and skills, ensuring we provide the very best early years education for every child.

🎨 Refreshing our continuous provision, carefully reviewing our environments to support children’s interests while considering the progression of skills across all areas of learning.

🔨 Refurbishment work at Bayhall Road, including brand-new toilets, a new ceiling to improve insulation for both winter & summer months and redecoration.

💚 Time to rest and recharge. Our team also enjoys a well-deserved break. Working in early years is incredibly rewarding, but it is also physically and emotionally demanding. Taking time to switch off, spend time with family and return refreshed means our staff can give children the energy, care and enthusiasm they deserve every single day. A huge thank you to our wonderful team for everything they do behind the scenes.

Our Southborough setting remains open over summer for holiday club and our admissions lists for all settings remains open for enquiries over the summer for a September start.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in September ⭐️

❤️ Ten wonderful years ❤️

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the people who have supported us over the last ten years to make The Little Learning Tree what it is today.

We have had the absolute joy of working alongside so many wonderful, dedicated and inspiring women who have loved and cared for hundreds of children, giving them the absolute best start in their journey into education.

Hayley & I feel incredibly proud of the impact we have made within the Tunbridge Wells community and are looking forward to another ten more glorious years. 🌳❤️

This week we have been to the museum at The Amelia Scott in the town centre. Children from both our St John’s & Bayhall Road settings went to explore the new “Archaeology Adventure” exhibition. The children had a wonderful time uncovering treasures in the digging pit, looking at the artefacts on display, learning from the past discoveries and finding out how everyday objects help archaeologists piece together ancient lives.

We also took time out to read some stories in the library before we found our way back to preschool.

You can find out more about the exhibition here: https://theamelia.co.uk/whats-on/archaeology-adventure.html

Admissions for September places are now available. Contact us [email protected] for more information.
