What perfect timing for an exciting delivery from ! ✨🍽️

We absolutely love our new plates, bowls, cups, and cutlery!

At Rainbows, meal times are about so much more than food. They are an important part of our daily routine and support learning across the EYFS. 💛

Children are encouraged to self-serve their meals and drinks, helping to build independence, confidence, and fine motor skills. With support from staff, children also practise using cutlery safely and learn to cut up their own food, developing coordination and self-care skills.

Meal times are also a wonderful social experience, giving children opportunities to chat with staff and friends, develop communication skills, and enjoy calm, meaningful moments together. ✨
