What a truly brilliant time we had on Saturday decorating traditional Ukrainian Pysanka Easter eggs! 🐣✨

It was wonderful to see so many of our pupils joined by their families and friends, along with representatives from the council, all coming together to celebrate such a beautiful and meaningful tradition. The atmosphere was full of creativity, laughter, and community spirit.

A special thank you to Mike Martin MP and Bev Palmer, Deputy Mayor of Tunbridge Wells, who joined in the activity and decorated their own eggs—it was fantastic to see everyone getting involved!

We’re proud to cherish and pass on this UNESCO protected Intangibile Cultural Heritage art and will continue hosting these and bringing people together through culture, art, and community. 💛💙

Today at St Mary’s Ukrainian School, we had a truly wonderful day celebrating the Ukrainian 🥟Varenyky🥟, welcoming spring and saying goodbye to winter! 🌸🌷

Our celebration was filled with beautiful singing and lively dancing, and we were delighted to have many parents join us. Your presence made the atmosphere even more special — warm, joyful, and full of community spirit. 💛💙
Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a lovely celebration. Spring has officially arrived at St Mary’s! 🌞
