We are about or have our final lunch in Tanzania 🇹🇿. Our transfer arrives at 12:00 on Thursday. We plan to be back in Truro for 14:30 on Saturday. Our last few days in Kilabaoni have been some of the team’s highlights. We have fed goats, cooked with the locals, planted banana trees, danced and sang with our hosts, watched an acrobatic performance, walked to a beautiful waterfall and coffee plantation. Yesterday we visited some local markets, souvenir shops and a market. We then had a posh hotel meal together. We are packed and cleared out of our dorms and ready for ‘home’. We celebrated and reflected upon our time in Tanzania last night 😥 there were a few tears. Peter our Camps rep, Mr Trivett and Mrs Blackbourn received some lovely thank you cards. Asante sana! So many happy and wonderful memories made - time to get us back to Cornwall!! ♥️
