Happy New Year everyone! We hope that 2016 is going to be a great year for the college with many exciting projects such as potential NUS membership to be decided on.

Congratulations to the 4 1st years - Morgan Centini, Anoushka Kumar, Eli Connon and James Barton - for making it onto the council after a great turnout in elections!

Please don't hesitate to contact us about any issues you have with the council. We will be running regular drop-in sessions for students and Truro College; more information on this will be posted soon.

Due to a lack of interest in the Truro College Leavers Ball we are going to have to cancel the event from going ahead; hopefully next years student council will be able to successfully host this.

If you want to have a position on the council you can apply at most reception areas in June. Remember, it looks great on university applications! 😄

We're all looking forward to the end of term; exams will be over and our summer will begin. ☀ However, seven of the ten student council members will be leaving for university in September and so we need seven new, enthusiastic students to take their places.
If you want to be able to have a say in things at college, organise and help with fundraising events and raise student concerns, then why not consider applying for the elections at Mylor Reception. Election nominations will close on Friday 1st May: Please also bear in mind that a role on the student council looks great on CV's and UCAS applications, so it really is worth considering. 😊
