😊 Welcome to our new Reception children!

They have all been amazing and have made a wonderful start to school. The children have been busy reading stories, exploring their new classroom, and learning some of our daily routines.

We are so proud of them already and can't wait for a fantastic year ahead! 🌟📚🎨🏫

We hope everyone is enjoying the summer holidays!
Please remember that Thursday 3rd September and Friday 4th September 2026 are INSET Days. School will be closed to pupils on these days while staff undertake training and preparation for the new school year.
🎒 Pupils return to school on Monday 7th September 2026.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back and hearing about your summer adventures! 😊

This morning, we came together to celebrate our Year 6 leavers.

We were delighted to welcome families and friends to join us in recognising their achievements and wishing them every success as they leave Shortlanesend School and begin the next exciting chapter of their journey.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and know they have bright futures ahead. 🌟🎓
