Looking back over summer term- Students from the Musical Theatre Club took to the stage to perform their imaginative and lively version of Alice in Wonderland. This special production brought together children from both the Prep and Senior School, including our talented Performing Arts Scholars, creating a wonderful blend of ages, voices, and creative energy.
Working closely with Miss Katie, the students spent the term developing the script, shaping their characters, and exploring the quirky, whimsical world of Wonderland. Their commitment to understanding the story and bringing each role to life was clear in every scene, from the moment Alice followed the White Rabbit to the topsy‑turvy encounters that awaited her.
As Alice journeyed deeper into Wonderland, the audience met a host of unforgettable characters — from the eccentric Mad Hatter to the mischievous Cheshire Cat and the ever‑commanding Queen of Hearts. Each performer brought their own flair to the stage, creating a colourful and engaging retelling of this much‑loved tale.
A special thank you goes to Miss Zahava, who worked with the children to create the props that helped transform the space into a world of imagination. Her creativity added an extra layer of magic to the performance.
Before entering the hall, the audience also had the opportunity to explore cross‑curricular work created by other students, showcasing how the themes of Alice in Wonderland had inspired learning across different subjects. This added a thoughtful and enriching dimension to the event.
The final performance was a testament to the hard work, enthusiasm, and teamwork of all involved. Every student delivered a wonderful performance, filling the room with excitement, humour, and heart. It was a joyful celebration of creativity and collaboration.
