October was ADHD Awareness month and we want to continue supporting and training people around living with and working with people with with ADHD.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a group of behavioural symptoms that include inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsiveness. It is one of a number of different neurodiverse conditions including dyspraxia, dyslexia and autism including Asperger's.

Prevent is a government strategy designed to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorist or extremist causes. The Prevent strategy covers all types of terrorism and extremism, including the extreme right wing, violent Islamist groups and other causes. Educate Against Hate!!!

Took a ‘Self-Care’ day today. Nothing planned but to relax.

Then I read an article that basically said selfcare after a stressful week isnt self care that’s aftercare and it really resonated with me!

Aftercare is going to bed early, having a relaxing bath and having an hour to yourself.

Selfcare is setting boundaries, stopping when you’re tired, getting a full nights sleep and saying no.
