✨ WELCOME BACK & AN EXCITING NEW CHAPTER ✨

After many wonderful years of dance, teaching and creating memories as KR Dance we are very excited to share that from September our classes will be moving to AMATA at Falmouth University, as part of the Dance at AMATA programme.

While our name and home are changing, the heart of what we do remains the same — a love of dance, high-quality teaching and creating a welcoming environment where our dancers can learn, grow, enjoy and achieve.

Kathryn, Amely and Clare will continue to be at the heart of the programme bringing their experience, passion and commitment into this exciting new chapter.

Our dancers will also have access to fantastic professional facilities and exciting new opportunities, with the Amata team now looking after bookings and administration.

We are incredibly proud of everything KR Dance has become and so grateful to all of the wonderful students and families who have been part of that journey so far ❤️

We are so looking forward to this new chapter 💫

Wow! What a fabulous show! Huge congratulations to all our beautiful dancers who performed to such a wonderfully warm and appreciative audience on Saturday. We have been truly touched by the amazing response — thank you for all the gifts, flowers and messages 💗

This year’s performance felt especially meaningful as we celebrated our dancers and marked an exciting new chapter for our school. Bringing together everyone from age 2 through to our Silver Swans, it was a wonderful reminder that dance truly is for everyone.

Thank you to Clare and Amely for everything they bring to our dance family and to our backstage team, volunteers and families whose support makes moments like this possible.

We are so proud of every single dancer

What makes KR Dance so unique? ✨
We’re proud to have Miss Amely as part of our teaching team.

She is the only Royal Academy of Dance qualified Examiner based in Cornwall, bringing a huge amount of experience and knowledge to our students.

At KR Dance, Miss Amely teaches our higher grades and vocational classes, helping dancers develop strong technique, musicality and confidence.

Alongside teaching with us, she has also been an External Examiner for a leading London dance college and an Associate Lecturer at Falmouth University.

It’s a privilege for our dancers to learn from someone working at this level in the dance world. 🩰

It’s Show Time! 🌟

With our Summer Show in June fast approaching, preparations are officially underway!

The team met over half term to begin planning choreography and show pieces — and we’re so excited for what’s ahead!

A reminder to parents: please let us know as soon as possible if your child will be available to take part, as we now need to confirm numbers and begin preparing routines accordingly.

We can’t wait to get started!
