Here at Cornwall Dance we pride ourselves on a warm and friendly atmosphere in our dance classes. Our students are always encouraged to work as a team and help each other and our classes are designed to encourage and reward, we work hard but have fun always! We are still buzzing after our MUSICAL MADNESS Summerschool this year!

Our Collaborative Ensemble of youths produced an incredible production full of Acting, Singing and Dancing in ONE WEEK!

🎉 STANDING OVATION FOR FROZEN JR.! 👏❄️💙

WHAT A WEEK! We just wrapped up our Musical Madness Summer School, where our incredible students built a FULL Junior Production in just ONE WEEK—and today, they received a STANDING OVATION! 🎭✨

A standing ovation for a summer school show! We are completely speechless! Frozen JR. was quite frankly out of this world, and the entire Cornwall Dance School team is completely blown away by what these young performers achieved in such a short time.

A huge thank you to everyone for your incredible love, light, and continuous support of our performance events. We couldn't do it without our amazing community! 🌟

The students absolutely SMASHED IT today! 🎭👏

We honestly couldn't be prouder of everything they’ve achieved in such a short amount of time. From learning harmonies and choreography to bringing so much energy every single day, it has been an incredible week—and we are going to miss it so much! 💙🌟

🔥 WORKSHOP ANNOUNCEMENT: INTENSIVE DANCE DAY! 🔥

Looking to level up your training this August? Join us on Monday 24th August for 4 hours of elite Commercial & Commercial Jazz training with guest choreographers Danni Fry & Ginny Thomas!

At just £19.50 for the full day, this is an incredible value opportunity for intermediate (11–13 yrs) and senior (14 yrs+) dancers who live to dance and want to learn from industry pros with tour, TV, competition crew, and cruise credits!

⏱️ SCHEDULE:

Intermediates (11–13 yrs): 10am–12pm Commercial Choreo with Danni | 1pm–3pm Commercial Jazz Technique & Choreo with Ginny

Seniors (14 yrs+): 10am–12pm Commercial Jazz Technique & Choreo with Ginny | 1pm–3pm Commercial Choreo with Danni

(12pm–1pm Lunch Break for all dancers)

🌟 DAY 1 OF MUSICAL MADNESS COMPLETE! 🌟

A massive WELL DONE to all of our amazing students who smashed Day 1 of summer school today! 🎭✨

We are so blown away by how much everyone achieved—conquering a huge amount of singing and tackling those harmonies like absolute pros! 🎶👏 The energy and talent in the room were off the charts, and we couldn't be more excited as this show starts coming together.

Rest up tonight, superstars—we can't wait to get back to it tomorrow! 💫💙

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE way to CELEBRATE and INSANELY AMAZING year at CDS!

From Local and National Events & Competitions to Exams and Performances and Accepted Audition Placements. Students flying off to BIG Dance Universities and Students achieving BIG personal goals throughout the year! From Thorpe Park to London and across the UK we've watched our students spread their wings and do what they LOVE!

And last night our students and parents deserved the chance to let their hair down! And we couldn't be more proud of them all for showing your support and being all round lovely human beings!

To all of our Wonderful Award Winners and HUGE well done! You are superstars!

And A MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone for coming along. A heartfelt thank you for continuing to support us at CDS and for allowing us to create these wonderful memories!

Our 'Summer Festival' Themed Evening is set to be a night of celebration! With students receiving Exam Awards, Student nominated Awards and Teacher Nominated Awards!

With a Fantastic Raffle, a cheeky CDS Quiz and our very own Kerry-oke and Disco! Along with Cakes and Sweets and a few other treats! It's going to be a great night!

We are still absolutely BUZZING from the weekend's Performance at the Hall for Cornwall! What an amazing day!

Don't forget classes are on this week and it's BRING A FRIEND FOR FREE week at CDS! If you'd like a friend to come along we ask that parents email ahead of their chosen class - [email protected]!

And THIS SUNDAY it's our SUMMER BALL at the Penventon Hotel! Tickets are limited so please email us to book your tickets asap!

Students will pick up their Exam Awards (March & June IDTA Session), Student nominated Awards (please vote at the LA Studios Reception Desk) and Teacher Chosen awards!
