Pitter Patter Playhouse Based 1.2 miles off the A39 between Truro and Falmouth. Our curriculum is based on real life experiences through regular outings.

Pitter Patter Playhouse is a small, personal nursery based 1.2 miles off the A39 between Truro and Falmouth. Teaching children about day to day safety and the world around them. It enables us to communicate with children and develop their language by talking about what they can see, smell & feel within the world around them. It allows them to express themselves in more ways than one; to physically

move and explore in different ways, to prepare themselves for leaving the setting, develop their self confidence in new surroundings and build relationships of trust and kindness between adults and their peers. This all encourages a life of adventure and curiosity!

A huge part of our nursery’s ethos is to give children meaningful, real-life learning experiences in and around Cornwall.

Today, we had the incredible opportunity to visit Vets for Pets Truro to see firsthand how their wonderful team cares for and helps our animals. 🐾

The children practised applying bandages, explored X-rays and bones, scanned for microchips using special equipment, met Barney the dog and Pumpkin the guinea pig, and even took part in some role-play surgery in the theatre room! 🩺🩻

A huge thank you to the amazing team at Vets for Pets for taking time out of their busy schedules, and for going above and beyond to provide such a memorable and inspiring experience for the children at Pitter Patter. We are so grateful!

💛Would you like a job where you can play at the beach, go swimming, explore the woods and enjoy our beautiful Cornwall every week? All whilst supporting children’s growth and development, creating special bonds and working as part of a small, friendly team!

⭐️Pitter Patter Playhouse are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and reliable individual to join our small team. It is essential that you are prepared to comfort & cuddle on a daily basis as we pride ourselves on offering a personal, loving approach towards the children and families at Pitter Patter. We run a close-knit setting with goals of forming strong bonds with each and every family as well as our staff.

Must have a minimum of a level 3 qualification and experience within childcare.
