Another wonderful session in the forest. The children enjoyed using bamboo as claves and beaters. We made shakers out of empty bottles and conkers/acorns. I brought my tongue drum to explore how it sounds under the trees.

It was our first session in the woods today with the amazing Falmouth Childminders group. We blew bubbles through wicker wands, made butterflies from leaves, bounced some crunchy leaves on the Lycra, tapped logs with bamboo and had lots of musical fun. Thanks Taller than Trees Cornwall and Youth Music for making this happening.

Jenny led a brilliant project in Penzance during the summer term. The children explored all things pirates and the sea! Jenny researched the link between an increased use of music and sound in daily routines and improved speech and language. All children and staff had a wonderful time :)

We had a lovely time on Monday celebrating the summer reading challenge with St. St Ives Library. We nestled in a shady area and made some music with some fab toddlers!
