🎉 Thank you for an incredible ASONE Hub Conference 2024! 🎶

On Tuesday, we were thrilled to welcome over 70 delegates and deliverers to the Alverton Hotel in Truro for the 2024 ASONE Hub Music Education Conference. Together, we explored the theme of Bridging the Gap, focusing on Skills, Diversity, Equity, and Progression in music education.

A heartfelt thank you to our inspiring keynote speaker, Lucy Hollins, for her engaging opening session. Lucy’s passion for inclusive music-making and her insights into the transformative power of music left us all inspired to empower every young person in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly to find their voice. 🎤✨

We are also deeply grateful to our incredible presenters:
Angela Renshaw, Vick Bain, Christine Judge, Rosie Ayling, Alice Browning, Emily Garrod, Patrick Bailey, Si Gordon, Faye Oakland, Madeleine Casson, and Colin Seddon. Your expertise and dedication to music education made the day truly unforgettable.

It’s here!

Over the past three months, we’ve been working hard with libraries around Cornwall and the Council’s Cornish language team to produce resources to be used around the county. Launching next week, this book contains nine illustrated songs/rhymes in both Cornish and English with recordings and a pronunciation guide to each on the accompanying Speak Cornish website (link in bio).
